BAM - Oktoberfest Date Night

Please join us for the first BAM date night of the year - Oktoberfest! Enjoy an evening outside biergarten-style, dancing to live polka music, trying your hand at stein holding, and enjoying German food and drink. Traditional German attire (lederhosen and dirndl) is encouraged if you have it. $30/couple. Childcare (for littles over 12 months old) is included with your ticket purchase.

Senior Support: 55+ Driver Discount Program

The 55+ Driver Discount course, hosted at OLG, is a state-approved accident prevention/insurance course taught by a certified instructor from Precision Driving Center. By utilizing the most up-to-date research in the field, participants will be provided the latest information regarding driver and traffic safety, new laws and road designs, and vehicle technology. Participants 55 years and older who complete the course qualify for a 10% discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years, according to Minnesota statue 65.b28. There is no longer a requirement for an initial 8-hour course: this single 4-hour class will qualify you for the discount. During class, there will be a 30-minute lunch break: please bring your own bagged lunch. The cost is $24/person. To register, call 1-320-308-1400 and give course #54291.

Bible in (Slightly More Than) a Year

Exciting news! OLG’s Community In Christ (CIC) is forming groups for Session 1 of our study, "Bible in A Year." Beginning September, we will go through about 100 episodes of the podcast by Fr. Mike Schmitz, covering about five days per week (a slightly slower pace). Small groups will meet on Mondays, and occasionally, all small groups will gather for social events or to explore podcast topics further. We’ll share about all the ways to get connected and the different opportunities and events this year at OLG. Fr. Kevin and Fr. Nick are hosting a Newly Married Social at the Rectory which will feature custom cocktails, appetizers, and music. All couples married in the past three years are invited to come and meet and reconnect with other newly married couples at Our Lady of Grace.

Faith Fun Fest

The entire community is invited for an evening of faith and fun at OLG. Celebrate the Feast of the Assumption of Mary at 5:30 PM, and then enjoy a festival immediately following Mass. The event will feature inflatables in the gym. Hotdogs, chips and soft drinks will be served with ice cream trucks to provide dessert.
