The 55+ Driver Discount course, hosted at OLG, is a state-approved accident prevention/insurance course taught by a certified instructor from Precision Driving Center. By utilizing the most up-to-date research in the field, participants will be provided the latest information regarding driver and traffic safety, new laws and road designs, and vehicle technology. Participants 55 years and older who complete the course qualify for a 10% discount on their auto insurance premiums for three years, according to Minnesota statue 65.b28. There is no longer a requirement for an initial 8-hour course: this single 4-hour class will qualify you for the discount.
