https://www.olgparish.org/holy-hourAttending "Holy Hour at the Harbor" was a breath of fresh air! Dozens of candles lit up the Church and surrounded the monstrance as we gathered together. For an hour we lifted up our voices in song and our hearts in prayer. I felt at home with this group of young professionals praising and worshipping Our Lord. Fr. Kevin graciously made himself available for confessions, staying until the last person was finished. After our time of prayer, song, and meditation, we were invited to the Commons for a social. Beer, Wine, Seltzers, and snacks were available while we were able to connect with friends and other young professionals. I hope to see you at the next "Holy Hour at the Harbor" on February 6, 2020 7:00-8:30pm!

Our Lady of Grace is hosting another Red Cross Blood Drive. There is an urgent need for blood, and you can sign up online by going to www.redcrossblood.org and entering OURLADYOFGRACE (one word) or contact Melissa Miller to schedule your appointment. Each pint of blood can save up to three lives and donating takes under an hour. This might be the most generous thing you do all year.

This Pentecost (June 8 – 9, 2019), the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis began a Synod process. The goal of the Archdiocesan Synod is to help Archbishop Hebda discern, through a consultative process, the pastoral priorities of our local Church today – and into the near future.
Your participation, as the Catholic faithful, is key to a successful Synod. You are invited to participate by offering your prayers, pastoral concerns, and ideas for moving this Archdiocese forward. See more here....

Join us for the weekly West Metro Young Adults Sports Night. These events are Friday nights at one of three locations: St. John's in Hopkins, St Joseph's in Hopkins, or Our Lady of Grace in Edina. The St. John's location is used for indoor sports nights and the St. Joseph's and Our Lady of Grace locations are used for outdoor sports nights. Please pay specific attention to the location for each particular sports night event.
All young adults ages 18-39 are invited to join us regardless of your faith background.
If inside, we play volleyball and basketball on a consistent basis and occasionally dodge ball. If outside, we play ultimate frisbee and soccer on a consistent basis and occasionally kickball. All are great fun - come out and play!

Bring the good news to the next generation; share the faith, build friendship, answer the call and become a 2020 TOTUS TUUS Summer Missionary in the Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis!
The Archdiocese is in need of college age men and women (age 18-26) committed to their Catholic faith who feel called to share it with youth (grades 1-12) in local parishes. This position is a temporary 2 month commitment; May 29 – July 28 (which includes one week of training and a one week break for the 4th of July holiday). Missionaries will receive $2,520 for their service.

Creating Safe Environments - Where Do We Go from Here?

Ramsey County Attorney John Choi, Bishop Andrew Cozzens and Tim O’Malley, Director of the Archdiocese’s Office of Ministerial Standards and Safe Environment will lead the presentation.
Restorative Justice: Naming the Harm

This presentation will help the audience understand why someone can’t just move on after suffering abuse or trauma. Laura Harder, a compassion fatigue therapist, will be presenting on the topic. Restorative Justice Groups
Support Group for Family Members of Victims/Survivors of Clergy Sexual Abuse
February 11, 6:30 – 8 p.m., 357 Stonebridge Blvd., St. Paul
Family members are often at a loss when it comes to supporting victims and survivors of clergy sexual abuse. Many do not know how to deal with the betrayal and devastation that they feel in regards to what happened to their loved one. Where was God in all of this? How could this have happened? How do I offer encouragement and hope to my family member who has experienced this tragedy in their lives. Join others who are relatives of these victim/survivors as they try to grasp and understand the trauma their loved one has suffered. This group meets on the second Tuesday of the month.
Victim/Survivor Support Group
Join with other victims/survivors of sexual abuse who share a similar experience and who want to provide each other with support, affirmation, hope, and empowerment. The group typically meets on the third Monday of the month. This group will not meet in January or February 2020.
