Monthly Holy Hour at OLG

First Thursday of Every Month

Time: 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM
Location: Our Lady of Grace, Edina

Young professionals (ages 21 - 35) gather for an hour of Adoration, Confessions, and song. A light social in the Commons follows. Please come and join us monthly on the first Thursday of the month.

"Attending ‘Holy Hour at OLG’ was a breath of fresh air! Dozens of candles lit up the Church and surrounded the monstrance as we gathered together. For an hour we lifted up our voices in song and our hearts in prayer. I felt at home with this group of young professionals praising and worshipping our Lord. Fr. Kevin graciously made himself available for confessions, staying until the last person was finished. After our time of prayer, song, and meditation, we were invited to the Commons for a social. Beer, Wine, Seltzers, and snacks were available while we were able to connect with friends and other young professionals." ~ Elizabeth Felsheim, OLG Young Professional/Parishioner

Faith in the Workplace with previous Delta Executive, Bill Lentsch

We invite you to join us on January 18 as we talk with Bill about living out our Catholic faith in the workplace. We’ll tackle questions like:

  • “How can I see my job as God’s work when it’s not explicitly religious or faith-based?”

  • “How can I find purpose in my work when it feels pointless/mundane/boring?”

  • “What is the Church’s teaching on the dignity of work?”

  • “How do I work hard and try to do a good job without placing my identity in my work?”

  • “Do you have any advice on how to charitably work with coworkers who are harder to get along with?”

  • “How can I be a good leader in the workplace?”

  • “What are some practical tips to living out my Catholic faith in the workplace?”

  • “What role do I have in making sure the company I work for is respecting the dignity of all its workers, the environment, and other social issues?”

Live at OLG is free and open to all young professionals (ages 21 - 35)!

About our guest:

“Before retiring from Delta June 30, 2021, Lentsch led 55,000 of Delta’s 85,000 employees. He said it was important for him every day to have a godly approach to what he was thinking, doing, in making decisions and in leading. But, he added, a bit of a challenge exists in being able to really express and evangelize one’s faith in public life.

“Born and raised in St. Paul in a large Catholic family, Bill Lentsch spent 32 years in the airline industry, with experience in engineering as well as leadership roles and operations. Most recently serving as chief customer experience officer for Delta Airlines, Lentsch joined the Archdiocese of St. Paul and Minneapolis Oct. 1, 2021 as its first chief operating officer.” – from the Catholic Spirit
