Shirley Hill Funeral

Shirley Stoddart Hill, 95, entered eternal life February 4, 2022. Her long, amazing and rich life started in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where she met her first husband, Jack Stoddart. Her parents, Margaret and Matthew Buckley, owned and operated a thriving neighborhood laundry business where Shirley likely acquired her amazing work ethic and uncanny sense of customer service. She later put these skills to work with incredible effectiveness when she started her long and successful career as one of the first female Realtors in the Twin Cites in the mid 1970s. After the passing of her first husband of 32 years, Jack, in 1978, she married Dick Hill and enjoyed another 32 years of marriage, living together first in Edina, Minnesota and later in Sun City West, Arizona. Shirley moved back to Minnesota in 2012 and lived at The Glenn in Minnetonka, where she resided independently and made many wonderful friends. She was treated with kindness, generosity and grace by the Glenn’s administrative and care staff. Shirley had a bigger-than-life-personality, positive attitude and was loved dearly and admired by so many. She was preceded in death by her two husbands and son, Tim Stoddart and survived by her children, John Stoddart (Linda), Mary Gruber (Paul), Paul Stoddart (Suzanne) and Peter (Laura), daughter in law, Melissa Stoddart, stepchildren Rick Hill (Monica), Chris Hill, Mike Hill, Barbara Marcum (Larry) and Robyn Herman (Brad), 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandkids. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Edina, MN. Gathering of family and friends one hour prior. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Matthew Dornquast Funeral

Dornquast, Matthew Durand of Minneapolis, MN passed away suddenly from natural causes on February 4th, 2022. He was born in Massachusetts on May 17, 1966, to Suzanne Rae-Ellen Johnston and Thomas Wayne Dornquast. Matthew was a self-taught tech prodigy who started his career well before graduating from Roosevelt High school in Minneapolis. He would go on to create a truly prolific career in the start-up tech world, both through his own creations, in collaboration with others, and through investing in causes and startups he believed in. He is survived by his wife Colleen, his 5 daughters Camilla, Evelyn, Josephine, Madeline & Genevieve, his mother Suzanne Johnston, brother Nathan (Kim) Dornquast and sister Raelene (Jeff) Ostberg, and bonus brother's Peter and Eric Nelson. Preceded in death by his father Thomas Dornquast in 2000. Matthew Dornquast was a creator. Instead of waiting for adventure, innovation, or opportunities, he created them. He went through life learning every day and strove to design a future where things simply worked better and made more sense. He faced frustrations and hurdles with unwavering optimism. Everything was a game to be mastered. While still finishing high school, he was a pioneering tech professional. Working at Microworks, Control Data, Blue Cross, and then, at just 22, becoming the C.T.O. (Chief Technical Officer) of the renowned ad agency Fallon. Matt was on the cutting edge of bringing companies online, personally building servers, networks, applications, and helping create the entirely new industry of online branding that we see today. He helped define what it is to have a company, a website, tracking, and communication. He started a new company Code42 with two of his close friends as an IT consultant firm. Under his guidance as co-founder, C.E.O., and Board Chair, Code42 went on to be one of the most successful technology companies in Minnesota, landing the largest private investment in our state in 2012. Until the day he died, Matthew was, as he always was: Caring, Loving, Patient, Brilliant, Funny, and above all Loved. Goodbye Matthew, we love you, we will miss you. Visitation will be held Friday from 4:00 pm 8:00 pm at Washburn McCreavy Funeral Home 5000 West 50th St. Edina, MN., with sharing of memories to take place at 7 pm for those who wish to participate. Funeral services at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 5071 Eden Ave., in Edina, MN on Saturday, February 12th at 11:30 AM. In leiu of flowers, donations to The Bright Foundation, Minneapolis are welcome.

Tom Mueller Funeral

Mueller, Thomas Age 80, of Edina, passed away peacefully surrounded by his three daughters on January 28, 2022. Tom was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Jeanne. He is survived by daughters Julie (Steve) Hartle of Eden Prairie, Nancy (Rob) Mendel of Edina, and Lynn (Tim) Vernon of Edina; grandchildren, Megan, Tommy and Johnny Hartle; Molly, Katie and Jimmy Mendel; and Laura and Michael Vernon, additional family and many many friends. He was completely devoted to his family and had sweet friendships with each of his eight grandchildren.
