Shirley Stoddart Hill, 95, entered eternal life February 4, 2022. Her long, amazing and rich life started in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, where she met her first husband, Jack Stoddart. Her parents, Margaret and Matthew Buckley, owned and operated a thriving neighborhood laundry business where Shirley likely acquired her amazing work ethic and uncanny sense of customer service. She later put these skills to work with incredible effectiveness when she started her long and successful career as one of the first female Realtors in the Twin Cites in the mid 1970s. After the passing of her first husband of 32 years, Jack, in 1978, she married Dick Hill and enjoyed another 32 years of marriage, living together first in Edina, Minnesota and later in Sun City West, Arizona. Shirley moved back to Minnesota in 2012 and lived at The Glenn in Minnetonka, where she resided independently and made many wonderful friends. She was treated with kindness, generosity and grace by the Glenn’s administrative and care staff. Shirley had a bigger-than-life-personality, positive attitude and was loved dearly and admired by so many. She was preceded in death by her two husbands and son, Tim Stoddart and survived by her children, John Stoddart (Linda), Mary Gruber (Paul), Paul Stoddart (Suzanne) and Peter (Laura), daughter in law, Melissa Stoddart, stepchildren Rick Hill (Monica), Chris Hill, Mike Hill, Barbara Marcum (Larry) and Robyn Herman (Brad), 22 grandchildren and 24 great grandkids. Mass of Christian Burial 11AM Friday, February 25, 2022 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Edina, MN. Gathering of family and friends one hour prior. Interment, Fort Snelling National Cemetery. Memorials can be made to “The Glenn Catholic Senior Community” in support of The Glenn’s residence benevolence program. Mailing address: The Glenn (Attn.
