Lectio: Salvation with Dr. Michael Barber

So join us on Thursday from 7:00- 8:30PM in the Frassati Room!

At every Sunday Mass, Catholics confess that Jesus came down from heaven "for us men and for our salvation." But what does "salvation" mean? In this remarkable 10-part video series, Scripture scholar and theologian Michael Patrick Barber provides a thorough, deeply Catholic, and deeply biblical, answer.

Using the Lectio Divina approach of reading, reflecting, responding, and contemplating, the accompanying workbook presents classic artistry, penetrating questions, and personal reflection to take the teachings to a deeper level.

Election Resources

As Catholics, we have a long tradition of engagement in the political process as a means of putting our faith into action. Yet today, many shy away from such involvement because our national and local conversations are filled with vitriol and harsh language. As Catholics, we must model a better way. The USCCB invites you to join the Civilize It campaign by taking the pledge below as a way to promote civility, love our neighbors, and build community. Click here to take the Civilize It pledge as an individual, family, or community.
