We need a crew of at least 4-6 persons to help with the Day of Blessing on October 21st . We need some traffic control, moving of tents before carpool, and just being avaliable to help as needed.

Many of our neighbors are experiencing food insecurity (hunger) as a result of the pandemic and civil unrest that has plagued the Twin Cities in recent months. To help keep them from going hungry, Our Lady of Grace has begun asking for sandwiches. Please bring individually wrapped simple sandwiches to the OLG kitchen by 10:30 on any Tuesday or Thursday. The sandwiches can be meat and cheese, meat, or peanut butter and jelly. If you don’t want to make sandwiches, but still want to help, you can bottled water to the kitchen by 10:30 on any Tuesday or Thursday. Thank you for participating in this important ministry of feeding your neighbors!

Items to Note:
Please arrive 10 minutes prior to the start time to complete registration. For safety reasons, we also require you wear closed toed shoes and remove all jewelry. SecondHarvest Heartland advises volunteers with food allergies to exercise caution when determining whether or not to participate in food packing.
As the group leader we ask you to:
Fill out the roster for all volunteers in your group and return it to us atvolunteer@2harvest.org
Review the Group Resources page for the Group Leader Checklist
Take note of our important youth guidelines and ensure all youth volunteers come with a signed parental waiver
Contact us for any cancellations or changes in your group size one week prior to the shift.
Consider a donation - a gift of $25 provides food for a family of 4 for a week.

PACER Center’s Simon Technology Center is seeking volunteers to assist with the exciting Family Fun Day & Tech Expo event. This event will take place on Saturday, September 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and brings together families, professionals, and consumers to learn about assistive technology. The Family Fun Day & Tech Expo features fun family activities such as adapted art activities, a photo booth, do-it-yourself activities, technology demonstrations and light refreshments!
Volunteers are needed from 9:15 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. to support expo activities and logistics at this event that celebrates all that is possible with assistive technology! Lunch will be provided.
