Joseph Anthony ‘Joe’ Tillman Funeral

Tillman, Joseph Anthony "Joe" 91, of Brooklyn Center, MN, passed away peacefully December 21, 2022. He was born March 18, 1931, to Joseph and Mary (Trisko) Tillman in Melrose, MN. He served in the United States Marine Corps Band, which sparked his lifelong passion for music and travel.

He married Beatrice "Bea" Kuntz in 1956 and they raised their 3 daughters in Brooklyn Center, MN. He worked as a machinist at Honeywell for 38 years. During retirement, Joe and Bea wintered in Florida for over 20 years. A few years after Bea passed away, Joe developed a bond with Helen McFall, and they were partners for many years. Joe had an adventurous spirit and a loving heart, and he will be dearly missed. He is preceded in death by his wife Bea; parents; infant son Jerry; siblings Helen Byers, Norbert Tillman, MaryAnn McGee, Delores Ellibee, Donna Brown, Donald Tillman; and son-in-law Robert Smith. He is survived by his partner Helen McFall; daughters Janice (Raymond) Meixner, Julie Smith, Jean (David) Tillman; 6 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and sister Bernadine Rieland.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 25 at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina, MN, with visitation at 10 am, Funeral Mass at 11 am and lunch following. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to Alzheimer's Association or North Memorial Health Hospice.

Survived by children, Ireland, Bobby, Sullivan and their mother, Kelly. Also survived by siblings, Mike, John, Dan (Mary), Jim, Tom (Therese), Ann, Kathy (Nancy), and his twin brother, Bill (Diane); many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and Vivian Hurley. He was a friend of Bill W. for over 10 years.

Ann Wiessner Funeral

Ann Marie Wiessner, age 66, passed away peacefully on December 21, 2022, surrounded by her children. Preceded in death by her father, Roman Adam. Ann was a proud mother of two children, Max (Melinda) and Greta (Christopher Fitzgerald) Wiessner, and was a "second mom" to many nieces and nephews, godchildren, her children's friends, and friends' children. She is also survived by her mother, Rita Adam; brothers, David (Pat) and Michael (Kassy Kenney) Adam; sister, Kathleen (Warren) Boughton; and many treasured friends and relatives. Ann will be remembered for her quick wit, infectious laugh, resilience, and insatiable sweet tooth.

Ann grew up in St. Paul and attended St. Agnes School. She studied journalism at the University of Minnesota (class of 1979), where she forged lifelong friendships with her Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority sisters. In fact, Ann made friends everywhere she went. Her robust network of friends was a source of comfort and joy through life's many challenges. Ann's family and friends could always rely on her character and empathy, with a side of good humor, in their own times of need. Her kindness and generosity knew no bounds.

Ann had a formidable career as an account executive in the advertising industry. Despite her cancer diagnosis in 2017, Ann continued to work at J.T. Mega Food Advertising until her retirement in 2021. A testament to her German roots, Ann was rarely idle. She loved to cook, go to movies, go for long walks-preferably around a lake, and read dozens of books each year. Ann was a dedicated parishioner at Our Lady of Grace and expressed her faith through service. She was widely admired for her steadfast faith.

A funeral service will be held Tuesday, January 10, 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Edina. Visitation one hour prior. Livestream available. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Wallin Education Partners or Save The Children.

Lloyd Warren Funeral

Lloyd Raphael Warren, age 89, of Peachtree City, GA went to be with his heavenly father on November 25, 2022.

Lloyd was born on March 16, 1933 in Portland, OR to Lloyd and Laura Warren. He was the third of six children. He served in the U.S. Army in Germany from 1956 to 1958 and the National Guard until 1962. He started his career as a Ticket Agent in 1958 with Northwest (Orient) Airlines retiring in 1992 as Executive Vice President, Inflight Services.

Lloyd married the love of his life, Janice in 1965 and they had four children (Todd, John, Heather and Allyson). They lived in Portland OR, Seattle WA, Edina MN and retired in Cocoa Beach FL.

Lloyd was unforgettable, leaving a lasting impression with everyone he met – he is remembered for his passion, faith, loyalty, love and storytelling.

He was preceded in death by parents, Lloyd and Laura; wife, Janice; children, John and Allyson; siblings, Laurel Battles and Sue Mims. Survived by children, Todd (Kimberly) and Heather Teskey (Mark); grandchildren, Mitchell, Jared, Natalie, William and Elizabeth; siblings, Gavin, Martha Casey, and Clifford; and nieces & nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at 11:00 AM, at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 5051 Eden Ave S., Edina, MN. Visitation one hour before the service at church. Interment Ft. Snelling National Cemetery.

Memorials preferred to Our Lady of Guadalupe Abbey in Carlton, OR where Lloyd spent many retreats.
