Our beloved wife, mother and sister, died September 23, 2022 at the age of 74 as the result of a tragic fall at home. Sue was born in Los Angeles, CA and attended high school at Bethlehem Academy in Faribault MN, where she grew up with her 3 sisters. She went on to graduate from St Mary's Nursing as a registered nurse. She was skilled, took pride in obstetrics, and was known as a compassionate nurse who was devoted to serving the needs of her patients. She worked at old St. Marys, Glencoe Public and Fairview Southdale Hospitals. The Shamla family enjoyed their cabin on Lake Minnie Belle for over 50 years. Sue and Ben enjoyed taking road trips around the United States and Canada, attending concerts at Orchestra Hall, and shows at the Guthrie Theater. She also traveled to Spain and recently to Jerusalem. Loyal and trustworthy, Sue was a giver all her life and could be counted on to join with others in making the world a better place.
