Age 91 of Edina went home to the Lord on November 21, 2024.
Survived by his loving family: sons Stephen (Rena), David; grandchildren; Parker Bonello, Taylor Bonello and her partner Jackson Ferguson; great grandson Jack Ferguson; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by the love of his life, Sara "Sally"; parents Steve and Grace, brothers Mario and Frank, sister-in-law Donna, and brother and sister-in-law George and Suzanne Greene.
A lifelong learner and superb student, he attended the University of Minnesota where he was active in the Delta Kappa Epsilon fraternity. At 20 he left school to enlist in the Army where he served in Korea after the war. He returned to the U of M where he finished his bachelor's degree then attended the U of M Law school. Upon graduation he joined a practice doing corporate work until his career took him to the state Attorney General's office in 1973. A few years later he entered the business world as an executive and corporate attorney.
As a sports enthusiast, he coached youth hockey, played basketball and golf and could be found in the stands at Golden Gopher football games on fall Saturday's. But his greatest love was his family and grandchildren.
Visitation at 11:00 AM before to the Mass of Christian Burial. Private interment at Lakewood Cemetery.
