  1. Which gospel did we hear from today? (John) 

  2. Who was questioning John the Baptist in today’s gospel? (the priests and Levites)   

  3. How does John describe himself? (“I am the voice of one crying out in the desert, ‘make straight the way of the Lord’,” from the prophet Isaiah) 

  4. What did John say he baptizes with? (water) 

  5. What did John say about the one who is coming after him? (he is already among them; John does not recognize him; John is not worthy to untie his sandal strap)  

  6. How can you be like John the Baptist and share Jesus, the Light of the World, with others?
