Weekly Reflection Questions - For Families with Kids

  1. In today’s Gospel from Matthew, how many loaves and how many fish are there? (5 loaves and 2 fish)

  2. What did Jesus do with the loaves and fishes? (broke them and shared them with all the people) 

  3. How many people were fed in the story? (5000!) 

  4. How many baskets of food were left over after everyone had eaten? (12 baskets full) 

  5. The Gospel from today is one of Jesus’ miracles. What does it mean when someone says something is a miracle?  

  6. Tell me about a miracle you have seen or heard about.
