Take a moment to read the Mass readings for this week and reflect on the reading as a family using the questions and printable activity sheets below.

Weekly Reflection Questions - For Families with Kids

  1. From which gospel do we hear today? (John) 

  2. Who are the main characters in today’s gospel? (Jesus, the disciples, and Thomas, called Didymus, one of the Twelve) 

  3. How does Jesus greet the disciples? (He says “Peace be with you.”) 

  4. How many times does Jesus say “Peace be with you”? (3) 

  5. How does Thomas respond when the disciples tell them they have seen the Lord. (He says he will not believe unless he places his finger in the nail marks and his hand in Jesus’ side.” 

  6. When is a time you lacked faith, and God revealed his power? (Perhaps an answered prayer, a miracle you have witnessed, a deepening relationship with Jesus)
