  1. From which gospel is today’s reading? (John) 

  2. Why does the gospel tell us Jesus was in Jerusalem? (the Passover of the Jews was near) 

  3. What did Jesus do when he got to the Temple? (He drove the merchants out and spilled the coins of the moneychangers) 

  4. What did Jesus say when the Jews asked him to show them the reason for his actions? (“Destroy this temple and in three days I will raise it up.”) 

  5. What Temple does the gospel writer say Jesus was speaking about? (The Temple of His Body.) 

  6. Why do you think so many people who were with Jesus in Jerusalem came to believe in Him?
