93 years Young, a lifetime resident of St Louis Park, Master plumber, devoted Catholic and KC member. He passed from cardiac arrest on November 16th, 2020, survived by beloved wife of 67 years, Marge, "Midge" and children, Joseph, Cecilia, (David Johnson), Philip, Mary, (Mike Gustafson), Paul, (Cindy) And 8 grandchildren; sister Carolyn Gabor; brothers Dan (Mary) and Tim Motzko.  Preceded in death by parents Thomas and Rose, siblings Cletus and Jane Krogh. Mass of Christian Burial at the Church of  Our Lady of Grace, 5051 Eden Ave, Edina MN, Mon. November 30th at 10:30 a.m. (livestream below) Visitation Sunday November 29th 1 to 4 p.m. at Gearty-Delmore Park Chapel, 3960 Wooddale Ave S., St. Louis Park.  (to attend utilize SignUp Genius on Frank’s obit page at www.gearty-delmore.com.)  Interment St Mary of Czestochowa Cemetery, Delano. Celebration of Frank's life will be held at a future date, summer 2021.

Carlsen, Lawrence W. "Larry" age 87 of Eden Prairie, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on October 18, 2020. Survived by his wife of 56 years, Joan; daughters, Kelly Phillips, Katie (Dan) Juckniess; grandchildren, Johnnie, Sophie, Grace, Charlie and Annie; brother, Tom (Paula) Carlsen; other relatives and friends. Larry was born in Albert Lea, Minnesota in 1933 to C. Ray and Claire Carlsen. After graduating high school Larry moved to the Twin Cities where he earned a degree from the University of Minnesota. During his years at the U of M he took a break to serve his country honorably in the Korean War. In 1963 he married Joan Reiter and went on to have two daughters, Kelly and Katie. Larry's life long passion was the stock market where he worked as a broker for over fifty years. He retired at the ripe old age of 81! Larry also loved to travel and was able to see the world with Joan and many dear friends. When he wasn't on the move he enjoyed golf, handicapping horse races, and spending time with his family. Larry's favorite role was being "Poppy" to his cherished grandchildren. He will be missed by all of his family and friends and remembered for his generous spirit. Visitation 4-7 PM Tuesday, November 24 at Washburn-McReavy Edina Chapel, W. 50th St. and Vernon Ave at Hwy 100.
