Rose Marie Nichols, 89, died peacefully from congestive heart failure on Tuesday, June 23, 2020.

Rose Marie was born in Corning, New York, and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She married the love of her life Charles Nichols May 17, 1952 after finishing at University of Ann Arbor. Life in Minneapolis, was full raising 7 kids, hosting parties with friends and neighbors. Together they enjoyed the perks of traveling the world. Sharing the love of Jesus was important in all of her encounters, and it was the culmination of all she did. Predeceased: parents Aloysius and Katherine Gaiss, sister Katherine Miller, husband Charles Nichols Survivors: children Robert (Kelley), Rick, Cathy, Cindy, Christina (Dan) MacInnes, Ron (Julie), and Cherie (Dave) Fesenmaier; grandchildren Nicole, Bob, Kristen, Rochelle, Brian, Bryan, Kristopher, Kyle, Danielle, Randy, James, Michelle, Gabrielle, April, Jacob, Joe, Annie, Rose, Lucy; 9 great grandchildren; sibling Al (Ruth) Gaiss; Adopted family John, Sherrie, Tina, Demetrius, Alex.

Bill Landgren Funeral

William (Bill) Steven Landgren, age 73, of Edina, MN passed away on Wednesday, June 24.

Bill was born in Des Moines, IA and raised in Willmar, MN. He attended St. John Vianney Seminary and Minneapolis Business College.  He worked for 40 years at the accounting firm of Smith Schafer (formerly Graves, McKenna, Lundeen & Almquist).  He enjoyed traveling and collecting stamps, coins, and piggy banks.  He was an avid reader and always had the daily crossword puzzle on a clipboard ready to go.  He never forgot a birthday or anniversary and always made sure that family and friends received a card. He had the postal service’s delivery times down to a science.  He was a wonderful husband and father.

Bill is survived by his wife of 47 years, Trudy, his children Amy, Billy (Heather), Melissa (Larry), and Joe (Megan), his siblings Susan Stone (Bill), Nancy Hoffman (Gary), Tom Landgren (Louise), Steve Landgren (Lynn), and Mary Dahl (Mark), many beloved nieces and nephews, and other family and friends.

Bill is preceded in death by his father and mother, William and Jeanne Landgren.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church for the family. Due to COVID-19, there will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to Second Harvest Heartland or Union Gospel Mission or to the Our Lady of Grace High School Scholarship fund to Ghana.
