Live at OLG with Sister Teresa Rose
Thursday, April 20th, 7 p.m. - Cassidy Hall
Cocktails. Mocktails. Conversations that Matter.
Live at OLG is a monthly conversation series for young professionals. Imagine a collaboration between a late night show, a cocktail lounge, and the Catholic Church. That’s the vibe at “Live at OLG.”
This month we are engaging in conversation with Sister Teresa Rose of the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus.
Have you ever met a religious sister and thought, “How is this person so awesome? How did you become like that?” Prayer. Intentional Christian friendships. Sacraments. Poverty. Chastity, Obedience. This isn’t a plug for religious life, this is a plug for abundant life. Sister Teresa Rose joins us as a daughter of God living the new life Christ has called each of us to. Jesus wants that for us. Let’s take a deeper step into that this Thursday.
Sr. Teresa Rose is from the Handmaids of the Heart of Jesus, a religious community based in Minnesota. The Handmaids serve as spiritual Mothers in parishes as a complement to the Diocesan Priest. Sr. Teresa Rose is originally from Maryland but moved out to the Twin Cities to serve as a missionary at the U of M with Saint Paul's Outreach in 2014. She joined the Handmaids in 2016 and currently lives at their convent in Hopkins. She oversees formation for the first year sisters as well as serves at the University of Minnesota and Chesterton Academy.

We look forward to having you join us on this great night!
