Kevin Clancy Funeral

Thursday, April 7 | 1:00 PM

Kevin Thomas Clancy passed away into the arms of God at the age of 25. Survived by parents Jim and Amy Clancy, siblings Jack, Paddy, and Maeve, many extended Clancy and Jaeger family members, the love of his life Grace Williams, and countless friends and loved ones.

Kevin was born and grew up in St. Louis Park, MN. He attended Golden Years Montessori, before embarking on an epic K-through-8 journey at Our Lady of Grace School - where so much of Kevin's charm and magnetic personality was molded. He loved learning, music, cabin time, and playing little league sports in these grade school years, when many of his most foundational friendships were formed. He attended St. Thomas Academy for high school, where he continued to thrive in school leadership roles, in the classroom, on the athletic fields, and amongst an ever-widening web of friends. Honoring his Irish roots, he attended the University of Notre Dame after high school where he studied business and finance before graduating and moving to Chicago in 2019. He began his career at Lincoln Int'l, where he quickly earned the respect and admiration of his colleagues and co-workers.

Kevin was always curious - curious about new, interesting, and sometimes unusual topics like deep space, the deepness of the ocean, or the depth of religious faith. He was constantly learning and teaching those around him (or anyone who would listen!). He was a voracious reader, avid consumer of Disney movies, and had a near-perfect record against his siblings in Mario Kart. He loved to travel and explore new places. Some of his favorite memories were trips abroad with family to Ireland and South Africa, and Spain and Mexico with Grace and the Williams family.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of our son, brother, soul mate and friend, but are comforted in knowing he was very happy in his last days. He left our world - for the next one - with the belief and faith that he would meet God. We know he has.
