On August 25th, Arlene died peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Preceded in death by her loving husband James, her parents Michael and Veronica Halloran, her brothers Robert, Thomas and William Halloran and sister Bernadine Rancone. She is survived by her children Katherine (William) Krape, Timothy (Carol Thomas), Gary, Laurie (Michael) Kozlak and James Jr (Cindy). She is also survived by her devoted sister Karol Baumeister. Arlene had 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren whom she loved dearly. She also had many nieces and nephews.

Arlene was a loving wife and caring mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Indeed these were the hallmarks of her life. Arlene had progressive dementia and showed us all how to live in the moment, keep life simple and remember to show love with smiles.

Our family is so grateful to all the staff and residents at Interlachen English Rose who so lovingly cared for our mother. They were like family to Arlene.

Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 5071 Eden Ave., Edina, MN 55436 at 10:30 Friday, September 23rd with visitation at 10:00 and gathering after Mass.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the family for the caregivers of English Rose and a garden bench at Presbyterian homes. "May you think of me each time the sun shines, a child laughs, or a smile blesses you...know I will be watching over you."
