1. From which gospel do we hear today? (Mark)

2. Where was Jesus sitting in today’s gospel story? (Near the treasury of the temple, where people give their offerings of money to God)

3. Of whom did Jesus tell his disciples to beware? (Scribes, who tended to do what was good for themselves while trying to make it look like they were observing God’s laws)

4. What did Jesus say about the widow’s offering to the treasury? (She had contributed more than all the others because she gave from her poverty).

5. What do you think Jesus is trying to say to YOU in this story?
