Reflection Questions

1. From which gospel do we hear today? (Luke)

2. What do we celebrate at Mass today? (The Fourth Sunday in Ordinary Time)

3. In today’s gospel, we hear the people in the synagogue say, “Isn’t this the son of ________________?” (Joseph)

4. Jesus replies, “Amen, I say to you, no prophet is accepted in his own native place.” What do you think this means?

5. By the time Jesus was done teaching, the people were angry and chased him from the town. Why do you think the people were angry?

6. Share a time when anger caused you to react badly. Apologize if necessary.
