Weekly Reflection Questions - For Families with Kids

1. In what location does today’s Gospel from Matthew take place? (Tyre & Sidon) 

2. When the woman begs Jesus to heal her daughter, how does Jesus respond? (he does not say anything to her)

3. Who asks Jesus to send the woman away? (the disciples) 

4. The woman is said to be persistent because she keeps asking Jesus for help. What does Jesus say to the woman? “Great is your faith, let it be done as you wish.” 

5. Invite each family member to share a time in her or his life when s/he was persistent in asking God to meet her or his needs. 

6. Share a time when you have seen the gift of faith at work in your life.
