Weekly Reflection Questions - For Families with Kids
From which gospel do we hear today? (John)
Jesus calls himself the true vine; what does he call his Father? (The vine grower)
What does Jesus say his Father does to the branches? (He takes away the branches that do not bear fruit and prunes the ones that do)
How are the people to whom Jesus is speaking already pruned? (Because of the word he has spoken to them)
How does Jesus say his Father is glorified? (That you bear much fruit and become my disciples)
Have each person give an example of a way your family stays close to Jesus and his Father, the vine grower.
